ISAECT 2018 Official Symposium Website – Responsive Event Portal

Overview
This project involved the design and conceptualization of the official website for the International Symposium on Advanced Electrical and Communication Technologies (ISAECT 2018). The goal was to create an intuitive, informative, and visually appealing web platform that would serve as the central hub for all symposium-related information, targeting professional engineers, scientists, academics, and researchers globally. The design prioritized clear information architecture to allow easy navigation through tracks, keynote speakers, and event logistics.
Objective
To design a user-friendly and comprehensive website that effectively communicates all necessary information about ISAECT 2018, attracting participants and providing a seamless digital experience before, during, and after the symposium.
Main Functionalities
Homepage Layout: A prominent banner showcasing the event title, dates, and location.
Symposium Overview: A dedicated "Presentation" section explaining the event's purpose, what it offers, and its duration.
Track Exploration: Clear visual separation and descriptive text for each of the three main tracks, allowing users to delve into specific areas of interest.
Keynote Speaker Showcase: A visually appealing section dedicated to highlighting the keynote speakers with their professional details.
Contact & Location Information: Footer area designed to display essential contact details (email, phone, fax) and physical address of the venue.
Advanced Functionalities
Dynamic Content Sections: Planned for sections that could dynamically load information for each of the three main tracks (Communication and Information Technologies, Smart Systems, Electrical Technologies) with "Read more" functionality.
Keynote Speaker Profiles: Designed dedicated sections for keynote speakers, including their photo, name, title, and affiliation, to provide quick access to speaker credentials.
Responsive Layout: The design was conceived to be fully responsive, ensuring optimal viewing and interaction across various devices, from desktops to mobile phones.
Information Hierarchy: Structured content with clear headings and visual cues (like icons for tracks) to establish an effective information hierarchy for users.
Technical Constraints
Visual Consistency: Maintaining the established visual identity of the ISAECT symposium across all web pages.
Content Management: Design consideration for a system that could easily update speaker details, track descriptions, and event schedules.
Performance Optimization: Design decisions aimed at ensuring fast loading times, crucial for academic users who might be accessing from various global locations.
Accessibility: Adhering to web accessibility standards to ensure content is usable by a broad audience.
